Winter gardens can have different shapes and forms according to the needs of our clients. The safety is one of the most important aspects that we have to account for when designing a winter garden. The Roofing of the construction should be made of special profiles – that are meant for roof manufacture. Sadly a lot of companies take the easy route and use window-door profiles or faccade profiles, that have an entriely different purpose but a lot cheaper to use are. Before designing a winter garden the width, mass and weather conditions should be taken into account (especially snow). The calculations have a big influence on the placement of support columns and rafts, but also the possibility of having to use additonal supporting studs. The glasspanes that will be used for the roof should be secure and/or tempered. Before the choice is made, research should be made on the materials that the manufacturer uses so no doubts are left. In most cases its a bad idea to make a decision based on the cheapest price.
