The AK-Flex 2 roller shutter is a completely new, practical and modern top mounted system with excellent thermal insulation properties designed for new buildings. The AK-Flex 2 top mounted roller shutter, thanks to its modular construction, fits perfectly into various building constructions. It is perfect for walls with a composite thermal insulation system, external plaster or clinker or slate facade. The possibility of any combination of boxes, adjusting them to the wall thickness and type of construction makes the AK-Flex 2 roller shutter an ideal solution also for prefabricated houses or houses with strictly specified wall thickness requirements. The AK-Flex 2 roller shutter armouring is made from aluminium profiles in a wide range of cover widths and colours. On request, it is possible to deliver the box as a ready-made roller shutter or in the form of elements to be assembled.
AK-Flex 2 top mounted roller shutters are extremely flexible and easy to install. The modular construction allows the use of the same parts such as sides, bearings and sliders for all box variants. Thanks to the modular design, the depth and height of the roller shutter box can be extended to perfectly match the existing brickwork. As a result, less work is required to finish the roller shutter. Quick and easy assembly of the box is achieved thanks to the adaptive strip, which also ensures ideal tightness of the construction. The system box is stable and cannot be moved, it is supported by mounting anchors installed on the sides. The top mounted roller shutter system also enables the use of internal and external revisions, for maintenance work to be carried out inside or outside the building.
The AK-Flex 2 top mounted roller shutter can be fitted with a radio-controlled motor SOMFY or SELVE allowing its operation at the touch of a button. The remote control has an opening and closing button, LED lighting (which signals the sending of a command, displays the battery charge status and channel selection). Electric motors are also available with the option of obstacle recognition, time programming, automatic lowering of the roller shutter in the case of heavy air pressure or sunshine. The AK-Flex 2 roller shutter with the use of appropriate motors can easily become a part of the intelligent house system (Smart Home) making its use even simpler and more pleasant!
The Alukon AK-Flex 2 roller shutter is characterised by excellent sound insulation properties. Depending on the type of box, it can achieve a (RW) value of up to 46/47 dB without any additional measures. This guarantees undisturbed peace and quiet in your home or office!
The AK-Flex 2 roller shutter allows the integration of an insect screen. The net protects against annoying insects in summer and in winter it is invisible and hides in the box. The net is made of moisture-resistant material and the Easy Click system makes it easy to use.
In the case of low windows and balcony doors it is necessary to use an external barrier to protect against falling out. Popular aluminium or steel barriers are visually unattractive in contrast to the all-glass barrier, which can be fitted in the guide rail of the Alukon AK-Flex 2 roller shutter. This is an aesthetic solution which does not interfere with the existing facade.
The AK-Flex 2 roller shutter offers a unique palette of standard and woodgrain colours. There is a possibility of powder coating in a colour scheme similar to RAL and a structural one, thanks to which it is possible to select the colour of the roller blind according to individual customer requirements. For an even better effect it is possible to order guides in a version foiled with Renolith foils.
