Aluron AS 178HS PRO SLIM is an all-glass lift and slide system combining innovative solutions with modern design. This system allows the construction of large movable terrace glazing with a low and warm threshold. Its design mechanisms allow the safe and comfortable sliding of heavy sashes, either manually or automatically. Fittings from renowned suppliers are used in the system to ensure comfortable sliding of even very heavy sashes. As a standard, ANTI-BI-METAL technology has been applied to guarantee durability and proper functioning regardless of significant temperature differences inside and outside the room, as well as flat door bolt catches to guarantee both aesthetics and user safety.
Lift and slide doors in Aluron AS 178HS PRO SLIM system are ideal for buildings with large glazed areas such as restaurants or winter gardens. In these buildings, ease of movement between the inside and outside of the building, ease of operation, design and aesthetics play an important role. An important advantage of the offered solution is the fact that AS 178HS PRO SLIM doors do not take up any space in the interior and fit well in any arrangement. The innovative design allows achieving the highest thermal insulation parameters from 0.7 W/m2K.
The AS 178HS PRO SLIM system makes it possible to completely integrate the door frame into the thermal insulation layer, which emphasises the decorative qualities of decorative facades and gives the building an individual and unique character. It is possible to produce constructions in all commercially available installation patterns (two- and three-track solution, solution with the possibility of using fixed glazing in inactive sashes, etc.).
Very high thermal performance combined with modern design. The main advantage of the AS 178HS PRO SLIM system is its thermal insulation reaching up to Uw = 0.7 W/m²K. Additionally, the system is characterized by enhanced water tightness (E1200) and wind resistance (Class 4).
The AS 178HS PRO SLIM system uses a number of innovative technical solutions, such as a systemic solution of all-glass covers on the sashes, the possibility of achieving threshold-free development, crimped connections of aluminium frames or the possibility of glazing from the inside and outside. Thanks to the use of a systemic connection of door frames in this system, doors can reach their maximum width, and their height can be up to 3,300 mm.

The system is also available in a Monorail version, significantly improving thermal and aesthetic performance while also simplifying installation.
For 90-degree corner constructions, an increasingly popular solution instead of using an aluminum connector is a fully glass joint. Another interesting option is stepped glass mounted on the sash. In this case, only the frame and the glass are visible, with the glazing covering the sash and the mullion.

In some cases, it is necessary to connect the HST frame with fixed glazing or a window. A dedicated solution is available for this.
The system features T-connectors that allow connection of a façade mullion with the HST without duplicating the frame.
A highly striking solution. In the Ultra variant, the mullion width is only 25 mm. To increase structural strength, reinforcing profiles are mounted on the inside and outside at the face of the mullion. An interesting option is integrating LED lighting into the 25 mm mullion.
