Practical combination of two spaces
The Aluprof folding door system is perfect as a connection between the house space and the garden or terrace. It is very often used in winter gardens. It can often be seen in commercial buildings, such as restaurants, where it significantly enlarges the usable space. Folding doors can be made based on the MB-59S, MB-60 or MB-70 systems, thanks to which they can be easily joined with other walls. A very comfortable solution is the possibility to fold the folding wings inside and outside (based on the MB-59S Casement system). Thanks to this, even when there is not enough space inside the house or winter garden to fold the wings, we can use a solution that allows the wings to be folded from the outside. The folding door system is each time constructed from thermally insulated profiles, and the width of the frame and wing depends on the system in which it is constructed.
Folding doors are the ideal solution for winter gardens, terraces or restaurants. The way and direction of folding of the wings (inwards and outwards) can be adjusted to one’s own needs. After opening all the wings, you get a very large open space, which is a perfect link between your house and the surrounding area. The biggest advantage of folding doors is the possibility to fold the wings and thus gain a lot of space. The doors can be up to 6 metres wide. When designing the opening pattern, it is important that the wings do not exceed a width of 930 mm. The door wings can fold to both sides, additionally one of the wings can be equipped with a handle and a lock on both sides, so that the folding door can be used as an additional entrance to a winter garden, house or a restaurant.
Folding doors can be made based on the MB-59S, MB-60 and MB-70 systems. You can easily and aesthetically combine the door with other adjacent glazing, windows or doors. This is especially important when building winter gardens.
Folding doors are each built on the basis of a 3-chamber system with thermally insulated profiles. The doors may be fitted with both double and triple glazing units. All glazing, fitting and central gaskets are made of EPDM synthetic rubber.
