WERANDA is a modern and economical aluminium canopy system, classified as a “cold roof” solution, offered by the window and door manufacturer ProfilNET. It features a lightweight structure made of thermally non-insulated profiles and a fixed roof pitch of 8°. With a precisely engineered load-bearing capacity of 120 kg/m², this system is ideally suited for use as a canopy over terraces, verandas, and basic winter gardens.
The system enables quick installation and adaptability to diverse user needs, with a wide range of glazing options available – from laminated safety glass (44.2 and 44.2 MAT) to budget-friendly 16 mm polycarbonate. Additionally, Weranda can be upgraded with optional components such as Slide Glass sliding glass walls, ZIP-Screen sun protection systems, and LED lighting integrated into the rafters.
