Aluprof MB-86 is an aluminium window and door system characterised by excellent thermal insulation properties, due to which it is recommended for energy efficient construction. Windows and doors in the MB-86 system are very often chosen by people building modern and energy efficient houses. The standard system is constructed from a 77 mm wide frame and 77 mm (doors) or 86 mm (windows) casement. In order to obtain the best thermal parameters, wide glass packages have been applied, which in this system may be even 67 mm thick. In addition, in the frame, there is a choice of three types of sections ST, SI and Aero, which significantly improve the thermal performance. The MB-86 system also features a wide and two-component central gasket, which improves the thermal and acoustic properties of the construction. Modern houses are increasingly often equipped with windows of significant size. The MB-86 system was designed to make it possible to manufacture single-leaf doors up to 1400 mm wide and 3000 mm high. Moreover, the leaf can reach a weight of up to 200 kg in the case of entrance doors. The MB-86 windows are designed to use standard perimeter fittings with visible hinges, as well as the increasingly popular hidden hinges.
The reference window in the MB-86 system, using triple glazing with a thermal transmittance coefficient of Ug = 0.5 W/m2k achieves a coefficient of Uw = 0.72 W/m2K, which makes it successfully used in energy efficient construction. The MB-86 window and door system uses a wide and two-component central gasket, which increases the thermal and acoustic properties of the construction. The MB-86 system allows one of 4 available variants to be used to improve thermal performance (in the case of windows) and one of 3 in the case of doors. The windows in the MB-86 system are equipped with an additional, wide, two-part central gasket as a standard, which improves the acoustic properties of the construction. Additionally, by equipping the window with triple glazing with very good acoustic parameters of min. 40 dB, you get a window that does not let noise inside the house. Thanks to the MB-86 system, you will ensure peace and quiet inside your house.
The MB-86 windows can be fitted with 3 types of glazing beads (Standard, Prestige, and Style) to match the interior style. An additional advantage is the possibility to make a window with a concealed casement on the outside (MB-86US), which allows a light and simple form to be obtained. The MB-86 windows fit perfectly into the trends of modern architecture.
The MB-86 windows and doors are available in all RAL colours, it is also possible to manufacture them in structural metallic varnishes. The offer is supplemented with the option of varnishing the windows with a wood-like structure. It is also possible to create a two-colour construction, where profiles from the external and internal side may have a different colour.
